Derek Wiles, Owner of Event Illuminations has a degree in Theatre form San Diego State University and has worked at some of the top regional theatres in the United States and festivals around the world. With over 30 years of experience in both theatre and events, Derek provides a broad base of knowledge to draw from for creating a one of a kind lighting design.
His passion for lighting started at a young age. working in the theatre he was drawn to lighting and its endless possibilities to shape a space and change mood through color.
